Is Orange Actually The New Black?
Nah, but only because orange is more "ka-pow" than "purrr". (Yes, those are really the words that come to mind when I imagine those two colors.)
Orange is the color of traffic cones, of safety vests, of construction signage (in the US, anyway). It's also the color of buffalo wings and Cheetos, of blinding sunsets, of carrots and basketballs. None of these items generally compels you to don apparel in a matching hue, but it's actually a very satisfying color to wear; orange dials up the punch of any outfit, and pairing it with some of the slightly unusual color combinations below gives it fresh attitude.
